Clayfield Queenslander

Clayfield has some of the most extravagant, detailed Queenslanders in Brisbane. One of the first posts that I ever wrote for this website was a Clayfield Queenslander and she is still one of my favourites to this day.

Plus there is this Clayfield Queenslander. Also a favourite.

When I opened my emails this morning and saw this Queenslander, I immediately shut down my email account and came here, to share this home with you. She is a lot more understated than the gorgeous homes above and she is just as lovely.

This front door is bold, statement entry, made even more dramatic with the contrasting white exterior and those whimsical french doors.

The living room is large and open, with the high ceilings giving that feeling of grandeur. I just love this room.

The dining room opens out to a deck to the rear of the home.

The kitchen is well laid out and makes good use of the small space.

This is possibly my favourite room in the house. The creeper plant is genius. This room is perfect for those days when you just want to curl up with a good book.

The bedrooms are light and airy.

The house has been built under as well with a large laundry, living and workshop.

This Clayfield Queenslander is for sale. There is no price on the listing, which can be found here. It’s a three bedroom, two bathroom Queenslander on 458sqm. The listing agency is McGrath New Farm.
