Nundah Queenslander

It’s been a very busy week in our household and I haven’t had any time at all to think about Queenslanders!   We’ve finished up at school for the year and also spent many hours in dance rehearsals and finally recitals.  That’s plural – there were three concerts to either or help out backstage.  Add Christmas preparations and some birthday parties, and we are very much looking forward to the new year.  While I was sitting around at dance rehearsals, I decided to realestalk Nundah.  Nundah was recently selected as a hotspot within Brisbane and when you check out the real estate it’s easy to see why. Add a cute little strip of shops and coffee houses, plus Toombul shopping centre down and road and it’s a pretty good spot.

So when I stumbled across this house, I was pretty pleased with myself.  Isn’t she adorable?! 

Through the front door, there is typical Queenslander hallway with rooms off on either side and opening out onto the lounge / living rooms.

While the decor is a little old fashioned, the actual room is stunning.  The french doors that lead off to the deck and the wooden floors are simply stunning.

The kitchen is quite basic but is clean and relatively modern.

The gardens are very well maintained and so neat.  I love the wooden decking outside.

The pool is surrounded by hedges for privacy.

This porch / verandah is stunning.

And my favourite photo of them all – the outside deck which connects to the living room and kitchen.  This is a new addition and works well in this space.
