This storybook Spring Hill cottage is an absolute delight.

Prior to the most recent sale in 2019, this cottage was sold in 2012. Below is the exterior photo from the 2012 listing. What a difference! The removal of the palm trees (and that enormous cycad, which could have funded the whole operation, hahah) has resulted in a simple, clean facade that is pleasing to the eye.

There are three bedrooms in this Spring Hill cottage, two on the entry floor level and one in the loft. This is bedroom one on the floor plan, with a large walk in robe.

The loft room is light and airy with an ensuite bathroom and an angled ceiling.

The Spring Hill cottage is compact. The living, dining and kitchen spaces are at the rear of the entry level. The stairs in the photo below lead up to the loft and the galley kitchen is tucked away to the right of the doors that lead out to a covered deck.

The galley kitchen has server windows that open up to the deck.

There are two outdoor entertaining areas – on the entry level is this covered deck. On the ground level, there is a covered patio.

On the ground floor there is a ‘multi-purpose room’. This level is not connected via internal stairs to the rest of the home. There is also a laundry, bathroom, workshop and two car spaces (parked end to end).

The patio is neat and simple. The open doors lead to the laundry.

The Spring Hill Cottage is not for sale and last sold for $1,150,000 in 2019 via McGrath Estate Agents. The listing is here.
