Bourne Street Clayfield
This Bourne Street Clayfield Queenslander is a stunning family home, with so much to offer.
Exterior
I adore the exterior view of this home, with the varying dimensions of space. It’s so inviting. The verandah on the right hand side is stunning.
Entry
Beautiful front door. Isn’t it funny how something as simple as a door lock can remind you of the past. For me, it’s our Queenslander in Ashgrove – even though that was almost two decades ago.
Verandah
This is my favourite space in this whole house. I love the doors (while modern) that lead out onto the verandah, with the angled ceiling and the headlight windows above the doors. It’s magical.
Eating spaces
The bespoke Wyer & Craw kitchen flows out to the deck which has a fabulous view to the mountains. The sheltered, expansive deck gives the kitchen and informal sitting room a light and airy feeling.
I’m a little more ho hum on the kitchen. I would have preferred cabinets that went all the way to the ceiling and I think that the natural wooden exhaust fan over the stove top looks out of place.
Living spaces
I do love a neutral wall colour and this one is lovely.

The bathrooms are a little dated.
